Breakfast is included & provided at Araluen.  If you opt to double up on breakfast and dine at Chateau Yering Hotel, you will need to book & pay them directly on the morning.

If your flight is cancelled by the pilot, we email a Rebooking Link so you may reschedule & fly on a better day

Only refundable flights are eligible for a refund if requested in writing within 14 days of the original cancelled flight date – see T&C’s

  • 2 night minimum for all room types 15 December – 15 January
  • Lodge accommodation will either be a Boutique or a Deluxe Room depending on availability at time of enquiry
  • Villas have a 2 night minimum all year round and all villa rates include breakfast
  • Rates valid to 28 February 2024
  • Subject to availability at time of enquiry

  • Features of a Lodge room include, but not limited to

    • Generous sized room accommodating a king size bed, lounge chair/s, flat-screen television, table and chairs for in room dining
    • Microwave, bar fridge, toaster, kettle with tea and coffee making facilities.
    • Each room has a newly renovated private ensuite with shower, vanity, toilet, heated towel rail, Sheridan towels, plush bathrobes and beautiful ASPAR toiletries.
    • Guest residing in the Lodge also have access to large central lounge, dining and kitchenette area. This space serves perfectly as a space to sit and relax or enjoy together if travel with friends.
    • Maximum occupancy is 2 adults per room

Breakfast / breakfast provisions are included with your bed & breakfast booking at Araluen in both the Lodge rooms & Villas

  • The Lodge central lounge and kitchenette provide a Nespresso coffee machine & pods

Araluen is –

  • Private and central to all Yarra Valley wineries and local attractions
  • Located less than 10 minutes from Chateau Yering Hotel – your balloon meeting point

 

Itinerary 

  • Accommodation Check In:  3pm
  • One night midweek or two nights midweek or weekend in a Lodge room or 2 nights in a Villa at Araluen Boutique Accommodation
  • Passengers Check-In: for ballooning via phone between 6-7pm the evening before your flight
  • Hot Air Balloon Flights: The following morning with complimentary transfers from Chateau Yering Hotel to the launch site / from the landing site back to Chateau Yering Hotel
  • Breakfast – is included in your accommodation stay at Araluen. If you prefer to have breakfast at Chateau Yering Hotel you will need to book and pay Chateau Yering directly as it is not included in your flight package approximately $40 per person
  • Checkout: 11am
